TCU Director of Equestrian, Haley Schoolfield, recently unveiled the program’s 2025-26 schedule, which promises an exciting season ahead. The schedule includes 12 regular season meets, with notable matchups against teams that participated in the previous NCEA National Championships.
Among the highlights are six home meets hosted by TCU, with three of these matches against teams that made it to the postseason last year. The Frogs will also face each member of the four-team Big 12 conference twice during the season.
Home meets are set to take place at Bear Creek Farms in Burleson, Texas, with one exception at the Fort Worth Stock Show. The season kicks off with a scrimmage against West Texas A&M on September 19, setting the stage for what’s to come.
TCU’s first home meets will feature clashes with Big 12 rivals, starting with defending conference champions Oklahoma State on October 3, followed by Baylor on October 9. The team will then embark on a west coast swing to face UC Davis and Fresno State on October 16 and 17, respectively.
Elite SEC opponents are also on the horizon, with Auburn visiting on Halloween and defending National Champion Georgia facing off against TCU on November 7 at Bear Creek Farms.
As the season progresses, TCU will journey to various locations, including the historic Fort Worth Stockyards for a meet against UC Davis on January 29. The team will then head to Brookings, South Dakota, for a faceoff with South Dakota State and a neutral site meet against Delaware State in early February.
TCU’s road trip continues with a visit to Oklahoma State on February 13, providing a preview of the 2026 Big 12 Championship site. The team will then face Baylor in Waco before returning home to wrap up the regular season against Fresno State.
Postseason action begins with the Big 12 Championships in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on March 27, followed by the NCEA Championships in Ocala, Florida, starting on April 16. The season culminates with the NCEA National Championship on April 18 at the World Equestrian Center.
TCU enters the 2025-26 season on a high note, having enjoyed a successful run in recent years. With a string of winning seasons and a strong home record, the Horned Frogs are poised for another competitive year in collegiate equestrian sports.
Last season’s achievements, including a 10-6 record and a No. 4 seed in the NCEA Championships, have set the stage for a promising future. Coach Schoolfield’s leadership, backed by a talented roster featuring returnees like Lilly Goldstein and Lannie-Jo Lisac, bodes well for TCU’s continued success both on and off the field.
With a blend of experience, academic excellence, and competitive spirit, TCU’s equestrian team is gearing up for an exciting season ahead, aiming to build on past accomplishments and make a mark in collegiate equestrian sports.
