In June 2025, the Hof Kasselmann Centre of Equestrian Sport is set to host three thrilling events that promise to showcase top-notch equestrian talent. Spectators are invited to witness these events at no cost, offering a close-up experience of high-level equestrian sport.
The Covalliero Dressage Days, scheduled from 5 to 8 June, will see the show jumping stadium transformed into a dressage arena for four days of elite dressage competition. Competitors from various countries, including the USA with notable riders like Kevin Kohmann, Kasey Perry-Glass, and Marcus Orlob, will participate in international tests up to three-star level. The event will also feature a tour for U25 dressage riders and FEI competitions for young dressage horses.
Simultaneously, from 5 to 8 June, the CPEDI Hagen will cater to para-riders, attracting top athletes from around the world. The competition will include riders like Fiona Howard, the current world number one, and other accomplished para-equestrians such as Kate Shoemaker, Pepo Puch, Sophie Wells, and Rixt van der Horst. The para-dressage competitions, spanning Grade I to V at two and three-star levels, promise to inspire spectators with the passion and skill of these athletes.
Looking ahead to 11-15 June, the Future Champions event will welcome youth riders from over 25 nations for eight Nations Cups across different age groups and disciplines. This event serves as a crucial qualifier for the European Youth Championships in dressage and show jumping, providing young talents with a platform to shine and potentially secure spots in their national teams.
Adding to the excitement, the fourth Hof Kasselmann & Schockemöhle Hybrid Auction is scheduled for 14 June, featuring a selection of jumping and dressage horses with the potential to excel on the international stage. This auction has a track record of showcasing high-caliber sport horses, making it a highly anticipated event for prospective buyers.
These events at the Hof Kasselmann Centre of Equestrian Sport not only offer a platform for seasoned riders to demonstrate their skills but also serve as a breeding ground for future equestrian stars. With a mix of elite competitions, para-equestrian showcases, and youth events, the centre continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of equestrian sport on a global scale.
